Hours:

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Macclesfield, Cheshire. This is a permanent part‑time position where you will work a variety of shifts, covering a minimum of 16 hours over 4 days per week, including weekends.

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers find the items they are looking for.
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, offering assistance with packing and ensuring a positive farewell.
• Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves for customer purchase.
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy.

• Enjoy being busy with a variety of tasks: from deliveries to tills to shop floor assistance and cleaning duties.
• Reliable, dependable and a key part of a small team.
• Flexible with shifts, able to adjust hours as needed when teammates are on holiday; rota is planned three weeks in advance and personal commitments are considered.
