A long-established manufacturing business in Macclesfield is seeking an Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer to join their close-knit engineering team. This opening has become available due to the upcoming retirement of a valued team member — a rare opportunity, as everyone in the team has over 10 years of service, which speaks volumes about what it's like to work here.

You’ll be responsible for maintaining, fault-finding, and repairing manufacturing and production equipment, ensuring the smooth and safe running of plant operations. This is a days-only role, Monday to Friday, offering great work-life balance and long-term stability.

• Carry out both planned and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults quickly and efficiently
• Support process improvements and continuous reliability initiatives
• Work safely to company and regulatory standards

• Electrical bias with strong multi-skilled maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Recognised electrical qualifications (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or similar)
• A positive attitude, good communication skills, and a team-focused approach

• Salary: £37,000 - £40,000 DOE
• Days:
  Monday to Friday
• Pension: 6% company contribution
• Overtime: x1.3 on Saturdays, x2 on Sundays
• Holidays: 27 days + 8 bank holidays
