Job Title: Senior Residential Support Worker
Location: Macclesfield, Cheshire
Salary: £33,096 - £35,800 (Inc. sleep-ins)
Working Hour: Full-time / Shift pattern

Qualifications
Required:
NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Children’s and Young People Workforce
Experience in Years
Required:
Minimum 2 years in residential childcare

Aged 22+ (to meet Ofsted regulations)
✨ Caring, resilient, and emotionally intelligent individuals
✨ Experienced in residential childcare, with ability to lead and supervise staff
✨ Confident in challenging situations and maintaining safeguarding standards
✨
Holds a Full UK manual driving licence

You do not hold a Full UK Driving Licence and do not have a car.
You only hold a Level 3 in Health & Social Care (not deemed equivalent).
Candidates with only Health Care, NHS, CQC, or Nursery Practitioner qualifications will not be considered.
You require sponsorship – no sponsorship available.
Individuals with only CQC experience and who have not worked in an Ofsted Registered Children’s Home will not be considered.
Role ResponsibilitiesDeliver high-quality care and safeguarding to children and young people
Build positive, long-term relationships and teach life skills
Supervise residential staff and lead shifts
Manage rotas, policies, procedures, and risk assessments
Ensure placement plans are followed and education is supported
Well-established national residential care provider
Over 30 homes across the UK
Strong therapeutic and trauma-informed model
Supportive leadership and management team
