Job Title

Band 5 Mental Health Nurse – Wellbeing Clinic

Location:

Macclesfield, England, United Kingdom

Position type:
Full time (37.5 hours per week)

Working hours:

9:00‑17:00, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities
  • Administer and monitor specialist medications to patients with complex mental health conditions.
  • Order medications, check stock and maintain clinic machinery.
  • Conduct physical health checks and deliver clinical note‑writing.
  • Provide autonomous care within a multi‑disciplinary team and manage an individual caseload in both clinic and community settings.
  • Support effective running of the clinic, including organising appointments and liaising with external services.
Key

Skills and Qualifications
  • Sound working knowledge of mental health disorders and the Mental Health Act.
  • Excellent communication, assessment and clinical documentation skills.
  • Ability to travel to patient homes and external clinics – access to transport is essential.
  • Experience in autonomous practice within a mental health setting (preferred).
