Our client is currently seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join their finance team on an 18-month fixed-term contract. This is a great opportunity for a confident and organised individual with strong credit control experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing customer accounts and maintaining accurate ledgers
* Proactively chasing outstanding debt by phone and email
* Investigating and resolving invoice and payment queries
* Allocating payments and reconciling customer accounts
* Producing aged debt reports and supporting month-end activities
* Liaising with internal departments to ensure timely resolution of issues
The Ideal Candidate
* Proven experience in a credit control or accounts receivable role
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
* Comfortable working independently and within a team
* Good IT skills, including accounting systems and Excel
The Role
* 18-month fixed-term contract
* Competitive salary, depending on experience
