Mechanical Engineering Lecturer – Stockport | Further Education
Salary: £30,000 - £39,000
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Mechanical Engineering Lecturer to join our team at a college in Stockport
.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the marketing, planning, delivery, assessment, and internal verification of Engineering programmes across a broad range of levels, from Level 1 through to HNC/D.
You will play a key role in supporting learners to achieve their academic goals and progress into further study or employment by delivering high-quality teaching
, maintaining excellent student attendance
, and ensuring a positive learner experience.
- Deliver engaging and effective teaching across Mechanical Engineering programmes
- Teach across Level 1, Level 2, and T Level provisions, with opportunities up to HNC/D
- Carry out assessment and internal verification in line with awarding body requirements
- Contribute to course planning, development, and marketing activities
- Support learner achievement, progression, and overall satisfaction
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or closely related discipline)
- Experience delivering Pearson and City & Guilds qualifications, including T Levels
- Teaching experience within Further Education or training is desirable
Teaching qualifications are not essential - the College will support and fund the successful candidate to achieve the relevant qualifications through its continuous professional development programme
