Estimator Eastleigh, Hampshire Salary 60,000 - £80,000 (Depending on Experience)  25 Days Holiday  Car Allowance  Pension Blaymires Recruitment is representing a well-established and growing construction company based near Eastleigh that is seeking an Estimator to join their team. The company has been operating for over 25 years and delivers a diverse range of new build and refurbishment projects across the residential and commercial sectors.

Project values typically range from £300k to £5 million. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and reputable business offering a varied workload, long-term career prospects, and a supportive working environment.

Key Responsibilities Preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates and tender submissions Reviewing drawings, specifications, and project documentation Taking off quantities and producing detailed bills of quantities Obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations Identifying risks and value engineering opportunities Liaising with clients, consultants, and internal teams Supporting negotiations and contract handovers to the delivery team About You Proven experience as an Estimator within the construction industry Experience pricing projects between £300k £5m Background in residential (high-end and/or social housing) and commercial projects preferred Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials Excellent numerical, analytical, and organisational skills Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Strong communication and negotiation skills Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously and meet deadlines
