Are you highly organised, detail‑driven, and confident working with compliance systems and accreditation platforms?
Metro Rod is looking for a proactive Compliance & Vendor Accreditation Coordinator to take ownership of our vendor management accreditations and support the ongoing maintenance of our ISO management systems. In this role, you’ll play a key part in keeping our business fully compliant across platforms such as Construction line, CHAS, Avetta, Safe Contractor and Achilles, and support documentation for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 audits.
- Complete, update and submit questionnaires for Construction line, CHAS, Avetta, Safe Contractor, Achilles and other client portals.
- Track renewal deadlines and maintain an accurate accreditation schedule.
- Work closely with internal teams (HSEQ, HR, Finance, Operations) to gather evidence including policies, RAMS, insurance documents, training records and financials.
- Ensure all supplier information is accurate, consistent and fully compliant.
- Keep up to date with changing PQS requirements and advise management of any risks or updates.
- Assist with documentation for ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environmental) and ISO 45001 (Health & Safety).
- Prepare audit‑ready records, logs and supporting evidence.
- Carry out internal checks to ensure procedures and training remain compliant.
- Support external audits by preparing documentation packs and responding to auditor requests.
- Maintain a central compliance database including certifications, insurances and training records.
- Manage document control and ensure timely policy reviews.
- Produce compliance reports for senior management.
- Create templates and standard documents to support submissions and audits.
- Prior experience in a compliance, HSEQ, quality, or accreditation‑focused role.
- Experience working in construction, engineering, utilities, rail or facilities management.
- Experience completing PQQ/PQS submissions for platforms such as Construction line, CHAS, Avetta, Safe Contractor or Achilles.
- Understanding of compliance requirements in regulated industries (e.g., construction, engineering, FM).
- Strong administrative skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and keep accurate records.
- Experience maintaining databases, logs or document control systems.
- Excellent attention to detail – able to spot inconsistencies or missing information.
- Comfortable managing large volumes of documentation, certificates, policies and evidence.
- Strong version control experience and a methodical approach to paperwork and digital files.
- Highly organised and methodical.
- Proactive with the ability to work independently.
