Office Administrator/ Coordinator, Business Administration
RoBAT Ltd., a subsidiary of Mycronic based in Macclesfield, is seeking an administrative specialist to support our sales, finance, operations, and engineering teams. The role involves procurement, inventory management, office administration, and contract oversight in a fast‑paced, technology‑driven environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage requisitions and process purchase orders from quotation to delivery.
- Serve as liaison between suppliers and internal departments to resolve supply‑related issues.
- Coordinate domestic and international shipping (Fed Ex, UPS, DHL).
- Match delivery notes to purchase orders and record goods received in ERP systems.
- Provide administrative support across all departments, including senior leadership.
- Act as the first point of contact for phone inquiries, greet visitors, and handle incoming mail.
- Maintain office supplies and assist with filing, scanning, and data entry.
- Update internal records, including holiday schedules, absences, and fire roll‑call lists.
- Oversee daily operations of the parts store.
- Monitor stock levels, reorder supplies, and organize inventory.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and ensure accurate ERP system records.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑organised store environment.
- Perform other relevant duties as required.
- Highly organized, dependable, and detail‑oriented with a strong focus on quality and results.
- Self‑motivated and proactive, with a willingness to take initiative and see tasks through to completion.
- Proficient with computer systems, including Microsoft Excel and ERP platforms.
- Strong time‑management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills—both verbal and written—with a confident phone manner and a collaborative, team‑oriented mindset.
- Previous experience in administrative or purchasing roles is beneficial but not required; full training will be provided.
- Eager to learn and grow within a dynamic, hands‑on role.
- Excellent attention to detail and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities, including analysis, evaluation, decision‑making, and creative thinking.
Working Conditions/Physical & Mental Demands:
The role requires regular use of hands, fingers, and voice; occasional standing, walking, and reaching. Close and distance vision, low to moderate noise levels, and significant computer work are anticipated. Standard manufacturing or office environment depending on the position.
