About the Job:

APPS Paramedical is one of the largest paramedical companies in the United States, offering nationwide coverage as we complete insurance physicals for people applying for life, health or disability insurance products. The Georgia office for APPS is looking for quality medical professionals to help us complete these exams in a timely, professional manner on behalf of the insurance company the policy is being applied through.

Job Summary

Our independent contractors are self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, organized, and able to work with minimal supervision while completing quality exams using their medical know‑how. These exams are conducted on a mobile basis at the client’s home or office, and may involve blood draws, medical histories, signatures on packets, vital signs, saliva samples, and 12‑lead EKGs. They are expected to follow all compliance and safety policies and to handle client information with accuracy and confidentiality.

Depending on exam requirements, an exam can last anywhere from 15 minutes to a little over an hour.

Hours

Set your own schedule! We offer exams 7 days a week and 52 weeks a year. Most of our contractors have full‑time jobs and use this opportunity to earn even more money each month. We schedule your appointments for you, so you can focus on what you do best—medical exams!

Reimbursement
  • Up to $25.00 per completed case based on performance.
  • You are reimbursed every two weeks by direct deposit for each exam you complete.
Territory

Set your own territory by choosing the zip codes you will work within.

Orientation

We provide a 6‑hour orientation to verify your skills and to show you the paperwork and website used by our independent contractors.

Equipment
  • We provide equipment such as tablets, EKG machines, and centrifuges for our ICs to rent or purchase.
  • Use of your own equipment will be considered but is not guaranteed.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience, as well as familiarity with taking vital signs.
  • Familiarity with tablets/computers and scanners is a must.
  • Preferred experience with pediatric and geriatric patients/home health.
  • EKG experience is preferred, but not required.

Please expect references to be checked as well as a background check and drug test.

Education preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalency.
  • Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certificate preferred.
