Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP-BC or AGACNP-BC)
Lynwood, California
St. Francis Medical Center is seeking a skilled Daytime Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join its Pulmonary & Critical Care team in Lynwood, California.
This role offers the opportunity to manage critically ill patients in a collaborative ICU setting with strong physician support and hands-on procedural development.
What You'll Do
- Provide daytime ICU patient management and rounding
- Respond to rapid response calls and provide code coverage
- Perform procedures including central lines and intubations (training provided as needed)
- Collaborate with attending physicians and a multidisciplinary critical care team
- Participate in continued clinical training and professional development
- Board-Certified ACNP-BC or AGACNP-BC
- Active California NP and DEA licenses (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Minimum 1 year of inpatient NP experience (ICU or hospitalist preferred)
- Strong clinical judgment, procedural interest, and commitment to patient-centered care
- 1099 independent contractor model
- $900-$1,000 per shift (based on experience)
