Lead RN First Assistant

The Lead RN First Assistant at Providence Little Company of Mary Torrance in Torrance, CA. This position is Full Time and will work 12-hour, Day shifts.

The Lead RNFA collaborates with the surgeon and the healthcare team in performing a safe operation with optimal outcomes for the patient. This individual renders direct patient care as part of the perioperative role assisting the surgeon in the surgical treatment of the patient.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree in Nursing
• Upon hire:
  California Registered Nurse License
• Upon hire:
  National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Upon hire:
  National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association
• Upon hire:
  National Provider PALS - American Heart Association
• 3 years of experience and expertise in perioperative nursing including scrubbing and circulating.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Upon hire:
  National Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR)
• 1 year of Previous RNFA experience

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
