Store Promoter

Reporting to the Store Administrator, the Store Promoter is responsible for demonstrating and promoting products to customers with an intention to boost sales, executing the Customer Service Strategy, and achieving the sales targets.

T&T Supermarkets, Canada’s favorite Asian grocery store, recently announced multiple new store locations in the United States. Our first US flagship store opened in 2024 in Bellevue, Washington at the Marketplace at Factoria, covering 76,000 sq.ft. and standing as the largest Asian specialty supermarket in Washington state.

• Engage the consumer by generating excitement and brand awareness
• Dynamically sell product to customers by positively greeting, presenting and demonstrating the product to a variety of people
• Achieve assigned sales targets
• Responsible for the organization and coordination of promoting merchandise
• Set up, organize and close the work area including cleaning and sanitizing, washing and drying dishes, and proper storage of equipment
• Adhere to all Food Safety handling and sanitation training and guidelines
• Participate and adhere to all safety policies, training, and practices
• Handle customer complaints and establish good and timely communication with the immediate superior and the relevant department head
• Leverage product knowledge as a differentiating factor in the service experience, enhance the customer shopping experience, and increase customer satisfaction
• Collect and maintain written and oral product‑related feedback from consumers
• Assist in the execution of special events, holiday programs and small gift distribution with purchase
• Assist other store promoters as required in a team‑oriented environment
• Perform any other related duties as assigned or required

• Possess good knowledge of customer service
• Possess good knowledge of food safety
• Sales skills; minimum 1 year of experience in retail/grocery, sales, restaurant, or food service highly desirable
• Ability to communicate in English; proficiency in Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) is advantageous
• Basic cooking skills, able to use products or cook food as appropriate for the demonstration
• Ability to solve problems and to deal with a variety of variables
• Ability to stand comfortably for up to 6 hours
• Must be able to work flexible hours and schedule, including weekends and statutory holidays
