These leaders will help shape the voice and character of the Squishable store experience.
The ideal candidate is a natural-born leader who loves the store experience, is passionate, organized, and can bring happiness to people’s lives. They should be confident, creative, friendly, adaptable, and able to perform at a high level while remaining calm and organized. Candidates must be well-spoken and comfortable interacting with people at all levels.
What does a Squishable Retail Sales Lead do?- Understands organizational objectives and makes decisions with the Store Manager that align with company priorities and values
- Enforces sales strategies, initiatives, and growth across all categories
- Productivity management: accountable for personal sales and team performance
- Acts as a brand ambassador in the local market to drive brand loyalty and business (e.g., charity events, mall initiatives)
- Resolves customer issues with a forward-thinking, solution-oriented approach; partners with Store Manager and/or District/Regional Manager as appropriate
- Develops individual and team product knowledge to stay up-to-date on all current in-store products
- Supervises the team daily, weekly, and monthly to meet goals and utilizes company tools; empowers others and fosters growth
- Provides feedback and coaches performance to a higher standard; supports Store Manager with constructive feedback
- Two-plus years of relevant supervisory experience in a high-volume, fast-paced, customer-facing environment
- Passion for people; a dynamic, engaged leader who empowers, inspires, motivates, teaches, and develops team members
- Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to balance priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Ability to give and receive constructive feedback to maintain a high-performance culture
- High emotional intelligence; ability to work with and manage diverse teams with empathy and self-motivation
- Team-oriented with a collaborative work style
- Willing to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software
- Ability to transport stock as required; lifting cartons up to 25 lb
Pay rate is $18 an hour
