We provide a collaborative approach to veterinary medicine, supporting Emergency & Critical Care, Neurology, Surgery, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Oncology and Radiology in one facility. Position SummaryVeterinary Assistant – ER/ICU. The role plays an essential part in delivering end‑to‑end care for our patients, from outpatient treatments and laboratory tests to admission and discharge procedures.
Role Responsibilities- Support veterinarians to ensure quality care, advocate for pets, and educate clients.
- Assist the medical team to maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow.
- Assist with surgeries and procedures in accordance with state Veterinary Practice Act for credentialed technicians.
- Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and provide guidance on Thrive Membership options, medications, and additional treatments.
- Maintain comprehensive medical records using practice systems.
- Obtain health history and information from clients and maintain medical charts.
- Use safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and keep treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs clean, sterile, and organized.
- Mentor and support fellow team members.
- At least 2 years veterinary assisting/technician experience.
- Desire to offer superior patient care.

Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience, starting at $23–$28 per hour. The final rate will consider skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
