Maintenance Mechanic – Manufacturing

Full‑time

Wage range: $28.75 – $39.75 per hour plus a $2 per hour shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift.

Perform duties to install, repair, and maintain production equipment. Safely performs position‑specific responsibilities to ensure a high level of productivity, quality, and customer service while adhering to all relevant company policies and procedures. Identify and recommend process improvements to streamline and increase efficiency of existing programs.

• Work with drawings, specifications, manuals and written/verbal instructions with minimum interference to production.
• Install, maintain and repair mechanical rebuilt production machines.
• Install new or relocate existing machinery and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and services to insure safe and proper operating conditions.
• Exercise proper care in the use of tools, equipment, and materials.
• Detect and report faulty equipment, defective material, improper operations, and unusual conditions to supervision.
• Tear down, troubleshoot, repair, reassemble, and adjust production equipment.
• Train less experienced maintenance personnel.
• Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma / GED equivalent.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Stand/walk throughout shift.
• Occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

• Mechanical aptitude required.
• Electrical aptitude strongly desired.
• Welding experience a plus.
• Must be able to operate machine tools.
• Must read blueprints and schematics.
• Bobst and Komori experience a plus.
