SalaryWage range: $28.75 – $39.75 per hour plus a $2 per hour shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift.
Position OverviewPerform duties to install, repair, and maintain production equipment. Safely performs position‑specific responsibilities to ensure a high level of productivity, quality, and customer service while adhering to all relevant company policies and procedures. Identify and recommend process improvements to streamline and increase efficiency of existing programs.
Essential Job Functions- Work with drawings, specifications, manuals and written/verbal instructions with minimum interference to production.
- Install, maintain and repair mechanical rebuilt production machines.
- Install new or relocate existing machinery and equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and services to insure safe and proper operating conditions.
- Exercise proper care in the use of tools, equipment, and materials.
- Detect and report faulty equipment, defective material, improper operations, and unusual conditions to supervision.
- Tear down, troubleshoot, repair, reassemble, and adjust production equipment.
- Train less experienced maintenance personnel.
- Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma / GED equivalent.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Stand/walk throughout shift.
- Occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Mechanical aptitude required.
- Electrical aptitude strongly desired.
- Welding experience a plus.
- Must be able to operate machine tools.
- Must read blueprints and schematics.
- Bobst and Komori experience a plus.
