Construction Project Engineer; Industrial

Position Overview:

Manage mechanical construction projects through effective communication, negotiation, scheduling, tracking, document control, material procurement, and forecasting of costs and profitability.

• Estimate and negotiate change orders
• Track quantities for productivity forecasting
• Buy out major equipment and subcontracts
• Expedite and track deliveries of major equipment/materials
• Maintain working knowledge of general conditions, work scope and specifications of project contract/subcontract
• Maintain and control documents in compliance with UMC Standards as well as contractual compliance
• Develop and submit RFIs with project management oversight
• Collaborate with field labor supervision to plan, organize and schedule project work including preparation of subcontract/contract integrated project schedule
• Review contract drawings, detail drawings and specifications
• Participate in and follow AIM processes as may be required for a project
• Ensure full compliance with UMC Safety Program at the jobsite and attend all safety meetings
• Regular attendance and promptness are considered part of essential job functions

Entry Level

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lynnwood, WA.

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $40.00/hr.
