Edmonds College seeks an Administrative Assistant 3 – Athletics (C) to support student‑athletes, coaches, and the Director of Athletics. This role reports to the Athletic Director and is a classified position in Lynnwood, Washington.
Base Pay Range$41,724 /yr – $46,920 /yr
Position OverviewPrimary responsibilities include first‑line communication with students and visitors, mail distribution, work order entry, inventory, and purchasing. The assistant generates new hire paperwork, administers youth camps, supervises work‑study students, schedules meetings and athletic events, manages budget and grant proposals, verifies eligibility, processes travel and recruiting materials, compiles statistical reports, and supports intramural programs.
Responsibilities- First‑line customer service with students, visitors, coaches, and staff.
- Mail processing, work order entry, inventory, and purchasing.
- New hire paperwork, PAF creation, youth camp administration, and work‑study supervision.
- Scheduling meetings, advising appointments, facility rentals, and athletic event coordination in 25
Live and Trumba. - Budget monitoring, expense tracking, grant proposals, and revenue reconciliation.
- Eligibility verification, letter of intent processing, travel arrangements for nine teams, recruiting materials, and scholarship allocation.
- Statistical data compilation for NWAC Presidents Cup, Grant‑in‑Aid, and federal Equal Disclosure reports.
- Intramural program support and student employee supervision.
- Additional duties and projects as assigned.
- Minimum of 2 years in a fast‑paced professional office with customer service experience.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workloads.
- Experience with scheduling and reservation systems.
- Independent and collaborative work, problem‑solving, and handling sensitive information with tact.
- Proficiency with data entry, spreadsheet management, and report creation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs safely.
- Valid Washington state driver’s license.
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends when needed.
- Knowledge of athletics and experience with Google platforms.
- Experience with CTClink and 25
Live. - Understanding of collegiate athletics environment.
Office setting with on‑site duties. Requires sitting, bending, stooping, walking, and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. Excellent communication skills are essential.
CompensationAnnual salary range $41,724 – $46,920 with progressive increases to $55,584. Full state benefits package includes tuition waivers, medical, dental, retirement, 12 sick days, 11 holidays, personal leave, and 14 vacation days.
