Sous Chef — Titchwell Manor, North Norfolk

£40,000 OTE | Full Time

Overlooking the North Norfolk coastline, Titchwell Manor’s three‑AA‑rosette kitchen is built on fresh produce, seasonality and steady, well‑executed cooking. It’s a great place for a Sous Chef who wants to continue developing in a supportive, quality‑led coastal property.

What the Role’s All About...

As Sous Chef, you’ll help run the kitchen — supporting the Head Chef, guiding junior chefs and ensuring each dish reflects the care and consistency Titchwell Manor is known for.

You’ll:
  • Support the Head Chef with prep, service and menu execution
  • Run the kitchen confidently in the Head Chef’s absence
  • Help deliver consistent, high‑quality dishes with a focus on seasonality
  • Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene and kitchen standards
  • Assist with stock management, ordering and waste control
  • Mentor, support and train junior members of the team
  • Ensure smooth communication with front‑of‑house and hotel management
  • Bring ideas, initiative and steady leadership to a busy kitchen
About You...

You’re a capable, organised and ambitious chef who brings calm leadership and pride to everything you do. You stay composed during service, work well within a team, and care deeply about producing well‑crafted food.

You’ll bring:
  • Experience as a Sous Chef or strong CDP ready to step up
  • A passion for seasonal, well‑executed dishes
  • Confidence in managing a section and supporting the wider team
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and standards
  • A reliable, steady approach to busy services
  • A desire to grow within a respected, quality‑driven property
Why Join Titchwell Manor?

Titchwell Manor is known for thoughtful service, beautiful coastal surroundings and food that consistently reflects its three‑rosette standard. You’ll be joining a skilled, supportive team in a property that values high standards and continual development.

It’s the ideal role for a chef looking to grow in a premium North Norfolk setting.
