InVO is seeking a passionate and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team at a dynamic charter school in Lynn, MA. The BCBA will play a critical role in supporting students with behavioral needs, collaborating with educators and families, and implementing data-driven strategies to foster positive academic and social outcomes. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
  • Provide direct support and coaching to classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, and staff in behavior management techniques and best practices.
  • Design and oversee implementation of individualized behavior programs and monitor student progress using data collection tools.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (special education, speech/language, OT, school psychologist) to ensure consistent behavioral and academic support.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, provide input on behavior goals, and ensure compliance with IEP requirements related to behavior.
  • Deliver professional development and training sessions for staff on ABA principles, de-escalation techniques, and behavior support strategies.
  • Supervise and support Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) or other behavior support staff as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records, collect and analyze behavioral data, and prepare progress reports.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Massachusetts DESE licensure (or eligibility) as a Behavior Analyst or Special Education preferred.
  • Experience working in a school setting, especially with students with autism, emotional/behavioral disorders, or developmental disabilities.
  • Strong understanding of ABA principles and ethical guidelines.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
