Eliot is seeking dedicated Stabilization Specialists to join our Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC). Eliot’s innovative CBHC program serves as a single entry point for mental health and substance use services for youth, families and adults.
As a Stabilization Specialist, you will be responsible for providing supportive stabilization services to clients/families in the community in need of crisis support and community stabilization. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to recovery‑oriented services and will possess excellent communication, crisis management, and problem‑solving skills.
Responsibilities:- Provide crisis support and side‑by‑side interventions to clients that focus on problem solving, skills training, modeling behavior, optimism, and encouragement.
- Provide interventions in the office, virtually, in the community and in client’s residences based on client preference, client need, and at the clinical direction of the urgent care team.
- Provide and support mobile crisis interventions, stabilization, planning and evaluations.
- Provide follow‑up and follow‑along supports as part of short‑term treatment planning, stabilization, and urgent care.
- Provide short‑term case management supports including managing income, insurance, other entitlements, accessing other services and community resources and scheduling/coordination of all medical and psychiatric appointments.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, documentation, and insurance verification within the established time frames.
- Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services field
- Experience working with adults, families, or children with severe and persistent mental illness and/or emotional disturbances.
- Valid Massachusetts driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Monday‑Friday, 9am‑5pm
- Monday‑Friday, 3pm‑11pm
Hourly Rate: $23.08 USD - $23.08 USD
