ROLE
Lynden Door Trucking, LLC is a growing, family‑owned transportation and logistics company looking for full‑time CDL OTR drivers based out of Lynden, Bellingham, or the Skagit Valley (Tractors/trailers in Lynden). We haul our doors from Lynden to states in the Midwest (Minnesota, Wisconsin, Texas, Ohio) and beyond, and bring all types of freight back to the Northwest in 53′ dry vans.
- OTR loads are 99% no‑touch. Equipment consists of newer Peterbilt, Freightliner, and Mack tractors.
- Drivers appreciate supervisors who care for them, support them immediately with on‑road issues, and work with them on scheduling needs.
- Hourly pay structure frees drivers from having to sit in traffic or road‑construction delays, allowing safe speeds, necessary breaks, and focus on getting there the way they left it.
- Quarterly $400 bonuses for performance (Safety, Idle Time, Logbook, Incident‑free) and an annual $400 Gold Star Bonus (based on quarterly bonuses).
- Experienced drivers start at up to 15% higher base wages than new drivers.
THE ROLE
- OTR lanes run to MN, WI, and beyond, then return from OH, MO to be delivered in the Pacific Northwest.
- These lanes require a driver to be gone 11‑12 days, including a 34‑hour reset and home 2‑3 days every other week. Longer road time is available for drivers who wish to be gone longer.
- Competitive hourly wages – $74,000 to $92,000 annually, based on 55 hours per week; up to 15% higher wages for experienced drivers.
- Steady work throughout the year.
- Drivers are paid while loading and unloading and when in traffic.
- Overtime is paid for all hours worked over 40 in a week.
- Quarterly performance bonus: up to $400, eligible on the first full quarter after a 90‑day probation period.
- Gold Star bonus: annual $400 bonus, eligible after one full year of employment.
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance plans available.
- 401‑K retirement plan with company contributions after 1 full year of employment.
- Class A drivers must provide a good driving record.
- Physically fit enough to chain up, tailgate products, and assist in sorting doors at each location.
- OTR and mountain driving experience is a plus.
- Job offers are based on passing a DOT drug and alcohol test as required by law.
- Must have good customer service skills and the ability to represent our company well to the public.
