About the RoleAs an Order Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for entering customer orders accurately, thoroughly, and on time. You’ll also collaborate with customers and internal teams in production, purchasing, and transportation to ensure each order meets expectations. Along the way, you’ll build expertise in door construction, fire ratings, warranties, and customer‑specific requirements.
What You’ll Do:- Accurately input customer orders using internal systems
- Communicate with customers and internal departments to ensure accuracy and clarity
- Interpret product specs and requirements for proper entry
- Learn key elements of door manufacturing (construction, fire rating, etc.)
- Support process improvement by maintaining accuracy and consistency in your work
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Fast and accurate typing skills, including 10‑key
- Solid business understanding; knowledge of door components or manufacturing is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking
- Organized, dependable, and able to work well in a team setting
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- A passion for serving others and representing the Lynden Door purpose with professionalism
- Competitive hourly wage: $20.00 and up (based on experience)
