Permanent Schedule (after training):
Swing Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM

Lynden Door is hiring a Custodial Lead to support and coordinate facility cleaning and upkeep across our campus during swing shift. This is a hands‑on working lead role — you’ll work alongside the team while helping guide daily operations, support training, and ensure our facilities remain clean, safe, and well‑maintained.

• Supporting daily cleaning operations for restrooms, lunchrooms, offices, tour areas, and common spaces
• Providing leadership and direction to the swing shift cleaning team
• Watching for safety hazards and communicating concerns promptly
• Training team members and helping maintain consistent cleaning standards
• Conducting one‑on‑one check‑ins and supporting employee development
• Coordinating restocking and management of cleaning, office, and lunchroom supplies
• Supporting company events by helping plan cleaning coverage and labor needs
• Overseeing use and basic upkeep of floor scrubbers and cleaning equipment
• Maintaining and following standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiency
• Communicating regularly with leadership, including daily shift updates
• Performing cleaning and facility work alongside the team as needed

• Bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish) preferred
• Reliable, organized, and safety‑minded
• Comfortable in a working lead role
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willing to coach, train, and lead by example
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Proactive and solution‑oriented

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in facilities, custodial, manufacturing, or warehouse environments preferred
• Prior leadership or lead experience is a plus
• Basic computer skills (email, Word, Excel)
• Ability to use cleaning equipment and carts safely

• Often lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, or shifting up to 50 pounds
• Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, and repetitive motions involving knees, back, ankles, wrists, elbows, shoulders, and neck
• Ability to stand for 8–9 hours per day

Wage: $22.25 and up – based on experience (Includes a $1.75 Swing Shift Premium) The swing shift premium begins after the four-week training period.
