Gov First is now hiring Snow Plow Operators for the 2025–2026 winter season for various Virginia locations. Whether you're a seasoned CDL driver or an independent owner-operator, we want YOU on our winter response team.
Open Locations- Culpeper, VA (Charlottesville, Louisa, Warrenton)
- Fredericksburg, VA (Fredericksburg, Northern Neck, Saluda)
- Hampton Roads, VA (Accomac, Franklin, Williamsburg)
- Salem, VA (Bedford, Christiansburg, Martinsville, Salem)
- Operate plow trucks and apply salt/de-icer along designated route.
- Complete vehicle inspections before and after shifts.
- Follow route maps and communicate with dispatchers.
- Maintain safe driving practices during hazardous conditions.
- CDL Class A/B or valid driver’s license.
- Must be 18+ with reliable transportation.
- Availability for overnight/weekend shifts during snow events.
- Snow plowing experience required.
- Owner-Operators:
Bring your own equipment and earn premium pay - 1099 Seasonal Staff:
Company-provided trucks and scheduled shifts - On-Call Contractors:
