  • Gain hands-on exposure to preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance practices
  • Assist with equipment inspections, servicing, and basic troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
  • Safely use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment while learning to read manuals, schematics, and work orders
  • Learn and apply workplace safety procedures, including PPE use, hazard identification, and LOTO awareness
  • Understand safety regulations, participate in toolbox talks, and help identify potential facility or equipment risks
  • Observe how maintenance supports daily operations, including coordination with operations teams and downtime reduction efforts
  • Develop problem-solving skills by analyzing equipment failures, diagnosing recurring issues, and helping prioritize work orders
  • Gain exposure to equipment lifecycle management and spare parts inventory processes
  • Build administrative skills by completing maintenance logs, updating CMMS records, and documenting inspections and repairs
  • Strengthen professional skills including teamwork, communication, time management, accountability, and following instructions
Mentorship & Growth

Interns are supported by experienced staff who provide guidance, feedback, and opportunities to observe and participate in real work environments. This experience is designed to help individuals build confidence, learn workplace expectations, and explore whether a career in maintenance or facilities is a good fit.
