The Industrial Electrical Helperis responsible for assisting the job site mechanic and/or foreman with the servicing of our Industrial customers. Job sites will vary amongst manufacturing facilities throughout the area. Projects may consist of lighting changeouts/upgrades, motor/control work, running large conduit and pulling large wire, etc.
What You'll Do:- Assist experienced Electrical Mechanics with installing and/or repairing electrical systems in industrial manufacturing facilities.
- Learn and follow safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and others.
- Gather, retrieve, deliver, and organize material in specific job site areas.
- Ability to read a tape measure, use hand tools, work from heights and in cramped/awkward spaces at times.
- Great personality, positive attitude, sense of humor, and a tremendous work ethic.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong interest in the trades and a desire to learn and develop new skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safety and following established protocols.
- Pre-employment drug screen and background check will be performed.
- Weekly paychecks - $17-$20/hr. based on experience and skill set.
