General Merchandise and Food Sales team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, and promotional signing processes for all General Merchandise areas of the store. This team conducts inventory accuracy, merchandise set-up and maintenance and pricing processes for all areas of the store. The team enables efficient delivery to guests by supporting pick, pack and ship fulfillment work.

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to assist with their needs and solve specific problems.
• Thank guests and acknowledge their visit to Target.
• Receive products, restock shelves, organize the backroom, arrange merchandise, and put up promotional signs for GM areas as assigned by leadership.
• Operate power equipment for moving merchandise or store fixtures if certified.
• Execute pricing changes, merchandise setup and maintenance, and inventory accuracy as directed.
• Learn how operational procedures affect inventory management, store profitability, and product availability.
• Be knowledgeable about resources, products, and services available in the store to solve guest issues and improve their experience.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance at all times.
• Work safely; follow safety policies, report hazards, and correct where possible.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes (e.g., picking/packing orders, delivering pickup orders) while complying with relevant laws.
• Other duties as needed based on business needs.

• Scan, handle, and move merchandise safely; frequently lift up to 44 pounds without assistance.
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) with reliable attendance.
• Work in varying temperatures and conditions, including Drive-Up and carryout tasks.
• Maintain mobility for scheduled shift duration.
