Are you a hardworking professional who takes pride in creating beautiful outdoor spaces? Do you enjoy the consistency of a school environment and a team-oriented atmosphere? We are looking for a Skilled Landscape Crew Member to help maintain our beautiful campus in Lynchburg, VA.

As a member of our grounds team, you’ll be responsible for ensuring our students, faculty, and families have a safe, pristine, and inspiring environment to learn and grow.

Role: Full-Time Landscape Crew Member

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Weekends as needed for special events or weather)

• General turf maintenance including mowing, trimming, and edging.
• Planting, mulching, pruning, and seasonal flower bed care.
• Assisting with leaf removal and snow/ice remediation during winter months.
• Operating and maintaining professional-grade landscaping equipment.
• Collaborating with the facilities team to prepare the campus for athletic events and school ceremonies.

To ensure the safety and excellence of our campus community, all candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Background Check: Ability to pass a comprehensive lifetime criminal background check.
• Driving Record: Must possess a valid Driver’s License and provide a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report.
• Health & Safety: Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Experience: Previous professional landscaping experience is required. Experience working within a school or campus environment is a significant plus.
• Reliability: Strong work ethic with a commitment to punctuality and professional conduct.
