- Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse / ER RN / ED Nurse (Travel Nurse)

- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (91 days)
- Start Dates: 4/7/2026 or 4/20/2026 (Orientation every other Monday)
- Shift: 12-hour day shifts
- Hours per Week: 36
- Employment Type: Travel Nurse / Travel Registered Nurse
- Weekend Requirement: Must work every other weekend
- Floating: Not required
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1910 - $2010 per week
- Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience in a similar size ED
- Experience in Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma Centers required (trauma nursing experience)
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Active Virginia RN license or Compact RN license required at time of submission
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC (ATCN/TNCC/ATLC accepted)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Cerner EMR experience strongly preferred
- All requested time off must be submitted with application
- Locals within 60 miles are not eligible
- Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in a fast-paced ED
- Assess, triage, and manage patients with acute, emergent, and trauma-related conditions
- Participate in trauma activations and respond to critical situations, collaborating with trauma teams and ED physicians
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per orders and evidence-based protocols
- Perform patient monitoring, critical care interventions, and procedures as appropriate to ED scope
- Document patient care accurately and timely using Cerner EMR (or other electronic charting systems)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including respiratory therapy, radiology, and lab services, to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, trauma protocols, and regulatory standards
