- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

- Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department RN experience in a comparable ED (Emergency Room RN / Emergency Department RN)
- Level I or Level II trauma experience required — trauma nurse experience (TNCC/ATCN/ATLS/ATLC)
- Prior travel nursing experience required (Travel Nurse / Travel RN)
- Active Virginia RN license or Compact RN license required at time of submission
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (or equivalent trauma certification)
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- Cerner EMR experience strongly preferred (EMR / EHR experience)
- Must be able to provide all requested time-off at submission
- Locals within 60 miles are not eligible for this travel assignment
- Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care to patients presenting with acute and emergent conditions
- Perform rapid assessment, triage, and clinical management in a busy ED setting
- Participate in trauma activations and respond to critical situations as a trauma nurse
- Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to ED protocols
- Accurately document patient care using Cerner EMR (or equivalent)
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and emergency department best practices
- Work scheduled shifts including every other weekend
- Competitive travel nurse compensation with estimated weekly pay range of $1,910–$2,010
