- Floating: Travelers float first and may be asked to float to sister campus

- Experience: Minimum 2 years recent Med/Surg RN experience required (medical-surgical nursing)
- Travel Experience: Prior travel RN experience required for all positions
- License: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Nursys verification required)
- Certification: BLS (AHA)
- EMR: Cerner experience preferred (EMR / electronic charting)
- Submission Materials: Complete work history (explain gaps over 90 days), skills checklist, and license verification
- COVID/Flu: Approved declinations accepted
- Provide safe, patient-centered, evidence-based care to adult Med/Surg patients during 12-hour night shifts
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop and update individualized care plans, and document accurately in the EMR
- Administer medications and treatments, monitor patient responses, and escalate changes in condition to the care team
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, interdisciplinary teams, and ancillary staff to ensure continuity of care
- Support a teaching hospital environment by precepting students and orienting new hires
- May assume charge responsibilities as needed (training and pay differential provided)
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, quality initiatives, and patient safety standards
- Be flexible and willing to float to other units or sister campuses as required
