Inpatient Hematology Oncology Nurse Practitioner

Centra Hematology Oncology is seeking an APP hospitalist to join the group at Lynchburg General Hospital.

The position is Monday - Friday 8am – 5:00pm.

You can expect:

• Admits and discharge patients
• Consults and rounding
• Some management of chronic health conditions
• Performing new hematology consults in coordination with the collaborative physician
• Assistance in developing the new oncology care model to improve patient care and outcomes

Required

Education:

Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program, and Masters of Science Degree in Nursing (MSN)

Required Certifications and Licensures:
Current licensure by the Virginia State Board of Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority. Maintains BLS and ACLS Certifications.
