As our Training Coordinator, you will coordinate training content and delivery for the BWXT Advanced Technologies organization operating out of the BWXT Innovation campus.

On-site in Lynchburg, VA at the Advanced Technologies Office

• Coordinate the training program and training program tools.
• Analyze, design, develop, maintain, and update training modules.
• Develop training content with input from subject matter experts.
• Assure the training modules remain current and compliant with company policies and procedures, client requirements, and relevant industry guidance and standards.
• Provide metrics and optics into the status of training per employee to management.
• Participate in training department activities, such as self-assessments, internal and/or external assessments/audits, documenting and recording training program activities, and management of auditable training records.
• Select and implement appropriate training methods or activities.
• Assess instructional effectiveness and determine impact of training on employee skills.

• HS Diploma/GED is required.
• A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience is required.
• Must have adequate knowledge of learning management systems and web delivery tools.
• Must have proven work experience as a training instructor, operator, or maintainer of a training program.
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have demonstrable ability to interface effectively with groups who are recipients of training.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) or Department of Defense (DOD) security clearance, whichever is required.

• Prior nuclear industry experience as a trainer or leading training programs is desired.
• Prior experience working in a quality system is desired.
• Experience with AI tools is desired.
