Job Overview

Cloud Fit Software is seeking Cloud Command and Control Engineers to join our growing Command and Control Center team in beautiful Downtown, Lynchburg, VA.

Cloud Fit Command and Control Engineers (CCEs) protect our customers’ interests 24x7x365 as they backstop our Cloud Fit Software Automation. CCEs engage with customers in critical situations, work closely with our executives in a fast paced environment, and interface with customer business, development, and operations via phone, tickets, and email.

• Monitor / backstop automation 24x7x365
• Engage customers via phone, email, and tickets
• Provide Command and Control leadership on Major Incident Bridges
• Interface with customer and Cloud Fit executive management both proactively and reactively
• Support customers via phone, email, and tickets

• Excellent customer service skills
• High level of adaptability and flexibility; able to multi‑task and work on numerous projects simultaneously
• Excitement for working in a face‑paced environment
• High degree of emotional intelligence and the ability to empathize with others
• Ability to prioritize tasks/projects and handle critical situations efficiently
• Passion for working and communicating with necessary stakeholders (customers, team members, community members, etc.)
• Excellent communicator with great verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• High technical aptitude; ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems

• Cloud and Dev Ops certifications
• Proven track record of leading customers digital transformation through cloud services management
• Engineering, Mathematics, Management Information Services or Computer Science Degree (or certificate)

* This position will likely be 2nd or 3rd with shift differential*

Frontend Team:

• 1st Shift: Sunday – Wednesday, 7am - 5pm
• 2nd Shift: Sunday – Wednesday, 4pm - 2am
• 3rd Shift: Sunday – Wednesday, 12am - 10am

Backend Team:

• 1st Shift: Wednesday – Saturday, 7am – 5pm
• 2nd Shift: Wednesday – Saturday, 4pm - 2am
• 3rd Shift: Wednesday – Saturday, 12am - 10am

The salary range for this role is $14.42 - $24.04 + benefits, & perks.

Please note the national salary range listed in the job posting reflects the new hire salary range across levels and U.S. locations that would be applicable to the position. Final salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s final level and location. Also, the range represents salary only and does not include our total rewards package.
