• Minimum 1 year of recent paramedic experience (within the last 2 years)
• Prior travel experience REQUIRED (mandatory for all Centra positions)
• Local candidates accepted
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts

• Current Virginia Paramedic Certification
• OR Approved VA EMT Reciprocity with proof of FBI fingerprint check
• National Registry Certification (required if applying from out of state)
• AHA
  
  Certifications:
  
  ACLS & PALS
• FEMA Certifications (REQUIRED): ics 100, ics 200, ics 700
• Hazmat Awareness: Preferred (not required)

• Updated resume with complete work history
• Proof of prior travel experience
• Paramedic certification (VA or reciprocity documents, if applicable)
• National Registry certification (if out of state)
• AHA ACLS & PALS cards
• FEMA ICS 100, 200 & 700 certificates
• Proof of FBI fingerprint check (if using VA reciprocity)
• Government-issued photo
