You have completed a High School diploma or equivalent. An advanced degree in a related field is a plus. You have at least 4 years of experience in a similar role and are eager to join Framatome to help deliver clean, safe energy and advance nuclear technology.

• Advanced knowledge of equipment, practices, procedures, and concepts in BWR and/or PWR refueling and reactor dis/reassembly activities.
• Specific nuclear reactor plant maintenance training.

• Effective communication skills with peers, management, suppliers, and customers.
• Knowledge of safety and health policies relevant to the role.

Your Opportunity

This part-time role allows you to make a meaningful impact on people's lives and the future of clean energy. You will utilize your skills in a team environment as a Reactor Services Fuel Handler in Lynchburg, VA, supporting outage services and training.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing installation, repair, maintenance, and testing of tools and equipment at customer sites under moderate supervision.
• Using procedures, drawings, and experience for activities on tooling, equipment, and components.
• Potentially directing technicians for specific tasks.
• Working around radioactivity and chemicals while wearing appropriate PPE.

This position requires up to 100% travel. Together, we aim to enable clean, safe, and economical low-carbon energy for a sustainable future.
