Residential Adjunct Faculty Sport Management – School of Business
Liberty University is hiring a Residential Adjunct Faculty in Sport Management within the School of Business.
OverviewAdjuncts are essential to Liberty University’s mission of Training Champions for Christ. The role requires a personal commitment to Liberty's goals and values, active participation in spiritual formation within a biblically informed Christian worldview, and using teaching, student engagement, and scholarship to support meaningful educational outcomes. Adjuncts should employ varied teaching techniques to create good learning conditions, treat each student as an individual, and accommodate differences, abilities, and interests where possible.
EssentialFunctions And Responsibilities
- Teach material from the approved curriculum according to an assigned schedule to ensure student satisfaction.
- Assist students in achieving completion of objectives and learning outcomes.
- Provide regular and timely feedback to students.
- Participate in school retention initiatives by maintaining productive contact with students and supporting absent students.
- Advise students on academics, attendance, and behavior.
- Motivate students to participate actively in all aspects of the educational process.
- Maintain and report student grades and attendance in accordance with university policies.
- Maintain university standards regarding course activity, emails, grading, and communication with the residential chair and students.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
We are seeking adjunct faculty who can teach at the undergraduate level. To teach at the undergraduate level, a doctorate or a master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in sport management or a related field is required.
