Bookkeeper/ Accounting Clerk
We are looking for a Lynchburg Bookkeeper who wants more than a job.

We’re looking for a sharp, detail-obsessed, dependable Bookkeeper & Client Accounts Coordinator to help manage the financial heartbeat of our cases.

What You’ll DoThis role supports the financial operations of our active personal injury and disability cases. You’ll work directly under Joe Stephens, our Business & Operations Manager, and follow clearly defined systems.
You will:
- Process and assist with payment of client-related expenses (medical records, treatment bills, court fees, etc.)
- Track client cost advances for later recovery.
- Scan, rename, and store billing documents using established naming conventions
- Upload documentation to the correct client files
- Flag discrepancies or missing documentation before they become problems
Translation:
You keep the financial side of our cases clean, organized, and controlled.
- You enjoy structure and process.
- You catch small errors others miss.
- You don’t mind repetitive tasks — you actually like doing them well.
- You take pride in getting things exactly right.
- You value discretion and professionalism.
Bonus points if you’ve worked in:
- A law firm
- A medical office
- Accounting or bookkeeping
- Professional services
- Part-time: 15–25 hours per week
- Flexible scheduling within business hours
- In-office preferred (Lynchburg)
$18–$22 per hour
, depending on experience.
If you bring strong Quick Books experience and a professional services background, we’ll pay toward the top of that range.
