What You’ll DoAs an Accounting & Payroll Analyst, you’ll take ownership of full‑cycle payroll processing, certified payroll reporting, and essential accounting activities. From preparing general ledger entries to supporting audits and benefit reporting, you’ll help maintain financial integrity across the organization.
A Day in the LifeIn this role, you’ll manage end‑to‑end payroll processing ensuring compliance with all necessary regulations. You’ll complete certified payroll reporting, reconcile payroll accounts, support month‑end close processes, and provide audit documentation when needed.
You’ll also contribute to treasury support, general ledger postings, customer billing, and collections. Whether preparing commissions for external sales reps or assisting with benefit plan audits, your accuracy and attention to detail will keep operations running smoothly.
Specific Duties- Process weekly and biweekly payroll with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
- Maintain compliance with all regulations and requirements.
- Prepare and submit certified payroll reports aligned with prevailing wage laws and contract requirements.
- Complete payroll‑related tax filings, and other required submissions.
- Maintain accurate payroll and tax records ensuring timely and proper filings.
- Assist with internal and external audits by compiling documentation and communicating with auditors.
- Support billing and collections by generating invoices, tracking payments, and resolving discrepancies.
- Process commission payments for external sales representatives.
- Reconcile payroll accounts and post monthly journal entries to support general ledger accuracy.
- Contribute to treasury and compliance functions as needed.
We’re seeking a motivated and detail‑focused accounting professional with a passion for payroll accuracy and a strong foundation in general accounting. Experience with multi‑jurisdiction payroll is a strong advantage.
Position Requirements- Associate’s degree required; bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- 1–2 years of relevant accounting and/or payroll experience preferred.
- Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Team‑oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
