Female Carer/Personal Assistant – Lymm
About This JobSupport a 16‑year‑old teenage girl with a rare genetic condition (HNRNPH2) to live independently at home and access community activities. The candidate will be a non‑verbal, wheelchair user with a strong personality. Preference for a car driver.
Responsibilities- Support the young person in learning independent living skills.
- Assist with personal care tasks such as showering, toilet use and changing continence pads.
- Provide lifting and hoisting support (experience required).
- Escort to events and outings.
- Support during social and leisure activities.
- Experience working with people who have physical disabilities and additional needs.
- Preferable to hold a driving licence and be able to drive.
- Successful applicants must complete an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
8 hours per week, to be worked on Saturdays during the day or evenings. Additional hours may be required during school holidays and some weekday evenings. Pay: £12.60 per hour.
