We are looking for an energetic, innovative, forward‑thinking and self‑motivated clinician who has a background in advanced nurse practice and is an independent non‑medical prescriber or is working towards this qualification. You will have experience working autonomously, responding to rapidly changing service priorities within a primary and acute care setting, performing comprehensive assessment of patients with urgent presentations, developing working diagnoses and treatment plans while working without direct supervision.
The IUCRS is an evolving and constantly developing team incorporating the following areas:

The role involves travelling throughout Northeast Essex delivering, assessing, and treating patients in their own homes within 2 hours as part of the IUCRS Urgent Community Response Team (UCR). B6‑to‑B7 developmental opportunities will also be considered.
The role of the advanced practitioner is dynamic, and you will be proactive in developing this role further in response to challenges within advanced practice. The successful applicant will be supported in their development as an advanced practitioner through a mentor, a robust appraisal process and allocated time for continuing professional development.
You must hold a relevant qualification with community experience or other comparable/transferable skills. You should have a good understanding of and knowledge of relevant legislation and treatment methods used in this specialist field and be adaptable to change and embrace innovation. We are committed to supporting you in your professional development, ensuring you have opportunities to attend appropriate training to reach your full potential.
