Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Calibration Test Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to a dynamic and innovative environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our equipment and systems.

This is a full-time, on-site position with working hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday. The salary for this role is up to £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

Responsibilities

As a Calibration Test Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:

Performing calibration and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to calibration processes.
Maintaining accurate records of calibration activities and generating detailed reports.
Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless integration of calibrated equipment into operations.
Continuously improving calibration processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Staying updated on industry trends and advancements in calibration technologies.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

The Test Engineer will have Proven experience in a calibration or similar engineering role.
Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand complex systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
A willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in engineering or a related field are desirable.

Day-to-Day

Your daily responsibilities will include:

Conducting routine calibration checks and adjustments on equipment.
Diagnosing and resolving any discrepancies or faults in calibration.
Documenting calibration results and maintaining accurate records.
Liaising with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Participating in training and development activities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
