We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Boiler Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in industrial maintenance, particularly in operating and maintaining boiler systems. This role is crucial for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our heating systems, contributing to overall facility performance.

• Follow all safety procedures and regulations at all times
• Responsible for operating DCS (computer control system) for the plant
• Implement procedures for plant start-up, shut-down, cleaning and batching
• Complete logs timely and accurately
• Respond to collected data and make adjustments in order to optimize plant operation
• Assist in keeping plant facilities clean
• Run quality control tests on product streams
• Run and maintain gas fired boilers
• Complete water tests, treatments, logs and make adjustments to chemicals for boilers, cooling tower, chillers, air compressors, methanator, and the R.O.
• Communicate with team members working previous and future shifts pertinent information to keep plant running smoothly

• 1st Class B MN Boiler License
• Ability to adapt to 12 hour work days
• Ability to respond to call in requirements as needed
• Climb ladders and stairs
• Confined Space Entry
• Working in a team oriented environment
• Analyzing and developing solutions to problems
• Developing and maintaining positive customer rapport
• Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office products
• Self starter, able to identify errors or areas for improvement, provide recommendations and follow through to completion
• Opening Valves
• Occasional bending, twisting and turning while lifting weights of 50-60 lbs
• Use of shovels, brooms, etc.
• Working at heights, in confined spaces and at temperatures from
  -20 to +100 degrees
