Store Manager, Retail & Store Manager

Hughes Tool Supply, a member of Pro Fast Supply Company, is looking for a dynamic Store Manager for our main location. This position will be responsible for day‑to‑day store operations and maximizing store sales and profitability. No nights or weekends, and no travel required. Store hours are Monday‑Friday 7 AM – 5 PM.

• Customer service and building strong customer relationships.
• Manage daily store operations including counter sales, order fulfillment, and deliveries.
• Evaluate sales reports on both customers and products.
• Sales growth: maximizing opportunities with existing customers and building new customers.
• Inventory control: maintaining store stock levels and displays.
• Continue product knowledge training on tools and fasteners to better serve our customers.

• Team oriented.
• Experience in retail store management and counter sales.
• Excellent customer service skills including communication and relationship building.
• Good time management including multitasking and organizational skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

This role works in a retail store environment with some time spent in a warehouse environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. While performing the duties of this role, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach and lift with hands and arms.

The employee may be required to lift up to 30 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance. While in a warehouse setting, the employee may be exposed to the outdoor weather temperature and loud noise. This role may require some weekend or late‑night work as the employee is the sole manager responsible for the location’s emergency response.
