We are entering an exciting new chapter of growth and diversification under a newly established leadership structure. With the transition of our current President to Chief Executive Officer, VOLT is seeking a dynamic President to drive execution, operational excellence, and scalable growth across all business units.

Position Summary

The President will serve as the senior operational leader responsible for executing the company’s strategic vision, optimizing performance across all departments, and ensuring alignment with VOLT’s mission and growth goals. This role will oversee the day-to-day business operations—including sales, marketing, technology, operations, finance, and HR—working closely with the CEO and executive leadership team to deliver sustainable, profitable growth.

This is a hands‑on leadership role ideal for a proven business executive with strong operational, financial, and strategic acumen and the ability to lead a high‑performing, entrepreneurial organization through its next phase of expansion.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership
  • Partner with the CEO to refine and execute VOLT’s multi-year strategic growth plan, including expansion in retail, smart home, and solar product lines.
  • Translate company vision into actionable business objectives, KPIs, and measurable outcomes across all departments.
  • Lead quarterly and annual business reviews to ensure accountability, performance alignment, and progress toward company goals.
  • Oversee and drive performance specifically EBITDA across Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, IT, and HR.
  • Develop and monitor operational budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditures in partnership with the CFO and department heads.
  • Champion data‑driven decision‑making, process efficiency, and cross‑department collaboration.
  • Ensure scalable systems, infrastructure, and processes are in place to support growth.
  • Lead, mentor, and empower department heads to deliver best‑in‑class results.
  • Foster a culture that reflects VOLT’s core pillars—Grow, Serve, Innovate, Discipline Develop—and promotes accountability, communication, and engagement.
  • Partner with HR to support leadership development, succession planning, and talent acquisition.
Growth & Market Development
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing leadership to expand market share across eCommerce, retail, and trade channels.
  • Evaluate and pursue new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and product innovations.
  • Represent the company in strategic negotiations, trade events, and key client relationships. Drive EBITDA growth over a 3‑year period by growing top line sales with a growth omni‑channel mindset.
Governance & Executive Collaboration
  • Serve as a key advisor to the CEO and Chairmen/Founder on operational strategy and company performance.
  • Provide regular business updates, risk assessments, and performance metrics.
  • Ensure organizational alignment with compliance, safety, and quality standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or a related field required; MBA or equivalent executive education preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a senior executive role (President, COO, or GM) within manufacturing, distribution, or eCommerce environments.
  • Proven track record of driving operational excellence, profitability, and scalable growth.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills, with experience managing P&L and building performance dashboards.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and foster a high‑performance culture.
  • Experience with omnichannel sales models, ERP systems (Net Suite preferred), and continuous process improvement initiatives.
