Position Overview:

We are seeking a Systems Analyst with strong expertise in Ignition Perspective SCADA development to support Energy Supply Solar and Battery applications. This role reports to the Technology Energy Supply team and plays a critical part in developing, supporting, and enhancing industrial control and data visualization systems used across renewable energy generation environments. This position is onsite.

• Design, develop, and support Ignition Perspective (v8.1+) SCADA applications, including web-based and mobile-responsive HMIs
• Develop and maintain dashboards and analytics using Canary Axiom
• Support and integrate systems using Rockwell Studio 5000 and Allen-Bradley PLCs
• Collaborate with Energy Supply teams to support solar and battery generation applications
• Develop and maintain data integrations using AVEVA/OSIsoft PI, including:
  • PI Asset Framework
  • PI Point Builder
  • PI Vision
• Write, optimize, and maintain queries using T-SQL
• Participate in Agile/Kanban workflows, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
• Perform technical and functional unit testing to ensure system reliability and performance
• Support deployment and version control processes using Azure Dev Ops
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and system usability across supported platforms
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve SCADA, data, and application issues

• Proficiency with Rockwell Allen-Bradley PLC programming, including:
  • Ladder Logic
  • Function Block
  • Structured Text
• Strong experience with Ignition SCADA and HMI development, specifically Ignition Perspective v8.1+
• Proficiency with Canary Axiom dashboard development
• Proficiency with AVEVA/OSIsoft PI, including PI AF, PI Point Builder, and PI Vision
• Strong working knowledge of T-SQL
• Experience using Azure Dev Ops for source control and work tracking
• Solid understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
• Experience performing technical and functional unit testing
• Experience working in Agile/Kanban development environments

• Experience in Utility or Renewable Energy Generation environments (highly desired)
• Exposure to solar and battery energy systems
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid onsite environment
