Location: Lutz FL Onsite/Hybrid (Local Candidates Only)
Position OverviewThe Industrial Control Systems Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting SCADA, PLC, and HMI solutions for Energy Supply Solar and Battery applications. This role participates in the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) under the direction of Solution Architects, delivering high-quality industrial automation and visualization systems.
The ideal candidate is highly skilled in Ignition Perspective SCADA development and Rockwell Allen Bradley PLC programming, with experience supporting utility or renewable energy generation environments.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Develop and maintain SCADA and HMI applications using Ignition Perspective v8.1+ (web-based and mobile-responsive HMIs).
- Program and support Rockwell Allen Bradley PLCs using ladder logic, function block, and structured text in Rockwell Studio 5000.
- Design and develop dashboards using Canary Axiom.
- Integrate and manage data within Aveva/OSIsoft PI systems, including PI Asset Framework, PI Point Builder, and PI Vision.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions aligned with project objectives.
- Conduct technical unit testing and functional unit testing to ensure application reliability and performance.
- Support Agile/Kanban delivery methodologies, including participation in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Manage work items, deployments, and version control using Azure Dev Ops.
- Develop and maintain T-SQL queries and database integrations as needed.
- Proficiency in Rockwell Allen Bradley PLC programming (ladder logic, function block, structured text).
- Strong experience with Ignition SCADA development, specifically Ignition Perspective v8.1+.
- Experience with Canary Axiom dashboard development.
- Experience with Aveva/OSIsoft PI (PI Asset Framework, PI Point Builder, PI Vision).
- Proficiency in T-SQL.
- Experience with Azure Dev Ops.
- Experience with technical and functional unit testing.
- Experience working in Agile or Kanban environments.
- Ability to work onsite in a hybrid capacity (minimum four days per week after initial two-week fully onsite period).
- Experience in Utility and/or Renewable Energy Generation environments (Solar and Battery systems highly desired).
- Experience working on large-scale infrastructure or energy projects.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Initial Period: First two weeks fully onsite to increase collaboration.
