Van Driver

Newstaff Employment Services is seeking a reliable and motivated Van Driver to join our team in Luton. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to various locations within the local and regional area. You will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction through prompt and professional service. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency on the road.

• Safely operate a van for the transportation of goods to designated locations.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and logs.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery instructions and timelines.
• Assist with loading and unloading cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies on vehicle operation and safety.

• Valid driving license (preferably a standard UK driving license).
• Previous experience as a Van Driver is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of local and regional routes in Luton.
• Excellent driving record with a commitment to safety.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
• Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
