M4 Specialist are currently recruiting for experienced LTD HGV 1 day & night Tramper Drivers for our client based in Luton, Beds.
Must have a minimum of 2 years HGV 1 experience.
Aged 25 and over for insurance purposes.
Max 6 minor points.
Candidates must have at least a basic level of spoken and written English.
Drivers will be required to complete an assessment and induction prior to receiving shifts.
Rate of payDays £20 per hour
Nights £21 per hour
Job role- Delivering from DC's to DC's and from smaller companies to DC's
- Some palletised goods
- Unloaded at site
- Securing load of trailer to ensure the safety at all times
- Must be able to attend assessment and any driver training required in order to carry out the role
Skills / Experience / Training required
- Full UK License (UK)
- HGV 1 License (UK)
- Minimum 2 years experience
- DIGI card (UK)
Maximum of 6 minor points - Ideally have previous retail / DC driving experience
- Must have excellent reversing skills
- Must be flexible relation to shifts and duties
- Must be able to provide a time critical delivery service in line with customer targets
